Thursday, October 26th, 2006

GOW

Well 11/07/2006 is fast approaching. Soon Gears of War will be hitting the Xbox 360. Most stores are selling pre-orders for the new fps. At selected stores (I got my duds at Best-Buy) put 5 bucks down and receive a free T-Shirt. Look snazzy at all those Halloween Keggers!

Microsoft quit teasing us!

Friday, October 20th, 2006

Apperently Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was put up on the Xbox Live Marketplace and then removed shortly after someone realized that it wasn’t supposed to be up there.Â

How can a mistake like this happen? How can a game that is not supposed to be out for another month get released “by mistake”? Is Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 not complete yet? Is that why the rest of us who were not at the right place, at the right time have to wait?

Before anyone gets defensive, I’m not demanding answers. But don’t tell me it’s not reasonable to wonder how an accident like this can happen.

Why “teasing” in the headline? Remember the Vision Cam getting released at Toys ‘R’ Us by “mistake” almost a whole month before the release date? Many of us had to wait 3 days after the official release date for our stores to have them in stock.

SHOP ’til you DROP! “literally”

Wednesday, August 9th, 2006

Instead of battling through mall walkers, Frank West has to fight through a mob off angry zombies, in a small town mall where he thinks will be a safe haven. Franks finds out the hard way that the mall has become overrun by zombies. So go ahead and turn up the song Thriller and take the game control and try to survive from the flesh eating zombies.

This game will cost you $59.99 and will support 1 player Dolby 5.1, HDTV 720p, Content from Marketplace (looks like more horse armor) and Statistics.

  • Real-time gameplay: Time marches on whether Frank is actively engaged or simply stationary.
  • Dynamic enemies: Record numbers of zombies come in never-ending waves and react to their environment. Though they move slowly during the day, the zombies become stronger and faster at night, making it even more dangerous for players to survive. These former humans have also retained some memory of their previous lives, giving them unique behaviors and appearances.
  • Visual clarity: Playing in native 720p resolution allows for unprecedented detail and clarity in gameplay.
  • Weapons aplenty: The variety of stores available to you in the mall offer an endless supply of resources, including vehicles, makeshift weapons, and food.
  • Save and learn: Encounter other survivors along the way. Helping them will give you more clues as to what happened, and what you can do to stop the cranage.
