We here at XBLRadio have always considered ourselves a fertile bunch of gamers.
With me having a son, to X3R0’s twin girls, to former hosts Steve519’s new born daughter, to MrCarpalTunnel’s game reviewing gang of boys, to Gui J’s heard he is raising (he’s Catholic, what you expect?), future gamers is something we are not short of in the XBLRadio Past and Present Family! Heck even KemansWar adopted King L3pr3chaun just to say he has a kid!
Anyways, to aid in XBLRadio’s ultimate goal of gaming domination today we announce the newest member to the XBLRadio Family! Although not an official host anymore this person has a special place in the hearts of all loyal XBLRadio Listeners!
And without further ado I give to you the newest, soon to be, addition to XBLRadio’s Family…
Hello XBLRadio Listener’s and Everyone At Platform Nation
This is a special interview that I did, with Chiahippo (PSHRadio), about the recent issues of Xbox Live Account Hijacking. We interview Skullus vBi and Arctic vBi, from Team vBi, about this issue because it has happened to both of them. You can check out Team vBi at their website www.team-vbi.net.
Sit back, kick your legs up and let Rusty Ranchero guide you through this EXPLICIT special audio treat.
It’s a dark and breezy late August night in Seattle as GUI J and Steve519 try to get Rusty drunk and make him turn off that darn recorder. So tune in and findout what a “Balzak” really is. If you don’t like people looking at you strange, then listen in public with caution, because smiles and laughs are sure to come.

There is no 56.5 Roundtable this Tuesday. While I can bore you with my excuses, I’ll just say that I enjoy having a roll in XBL Radio and I have no plans of leaving this organization. I WILL RETURN in Two Weeks with a fresh set of guests for the next Gamers Roundtable, podcast 57.5

So if you are 18 or older, then I invite you to check out this special audio in place of “LIVE on LIVE”. CUATION: This audio contains strong language and adult oriented content. LISTENER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

“Would you consider buying a service that allows downloading Xbox LIVE Marketplace content faster than your current experience?”, asks question six.
If you subscribe to the Xbox Flash Newsletter, the latest issue (9-18-2007) will invite you to take a survey to “Let [them] know how you feel about Xbox LIVE Marketplace*.” First, commendation goes to MS for being very sharp about the agenda of the servey. There is no beating around the bush or any masks behind the questions at all. Now with that said, shall we continue?
The final two inquiries of the survey blatantly ask “How much” would you spend, either for a monthly subscription (from $2-or-less to $4-or-more) or a per-download use (from 10 cents to 25 cents)? Taking note that there is no option for zero dollars and zero cents. Now at this point, am I really the only one asking, “shouldn’t this be free?” And who in their right mind would pick the more expensive answers in this survey?
“But Rusty, we live in a democracy where free trade and capitalism is not regulated. Businesses and corporations have the right to charge whatever they want for any porducts and services they offer. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.” Thank you. You are very educated.
I’m saying consumers have a voice and the Xbox Live Team asked to hear our voices by publishing this questionnaire and then sending out an email asking gamers to take the survey. Please let me help spread the word. I encourage everyone who may have recieved the latest Xbox Flash email to take the survey. Let them hear your voice by clicking your mouse. That’s all. And you know, some surveys ask for comments and feedback right before you hit the submit button; this one does not.
Check out this sweet video from 360style.net. It’s a seven minute PAX-u-mentary showing off some cool games, gamers and gaming. It’s got more game than MJ. Also, keep an eye out for some familiar faces in this wonderfully edited presentation.

When a service becomes so large, it’s only a matter of time before the spammers vulture around to cash-in on the unsuspecting citizen. And it’s official. Xbox Live is so large! Score anonther one for the spammers because users of the service are now targets.
Gamers beware. If you get email from “Xbox Support”, use your best judgement to determine if it’s legit. The image below is a real spam e-mail, posing as official Xbox communications…
Things to look for in spam email:
1. Hyperlinks that link to web domains that are unfamiliar to you.
2. The “reply-to” address may not match the “from” address.
3. The use of “check out the new features” four times in a three sentence paragraph.
So pass it on and tell a friend. Together, we can beat spams high score.
Ok for those of you that didn’t know, Rusty Rachero (one of the XBL Radio hosts), is 28 years old and until this video has never been drunk before. I didn’t even know we had this on video but it turns out we did so I figured I would share it. And if your ears are sensitive to a little foul language then you might not wanna hear this.
With the release of “the most anticipated game of the year” right around the corner, retailers know that consoles and accessories will jet of the shelves. So what better way to join the celebration then by adding a Halo 3 dollar tax to many Xbox 360 accessories?
While other retailers are pricing the 360 add-ons at Xbox.com’s MSRP, Best Buy thinks adding three dollars to that is the perfect theme to tie-in the Halo Three launch. As many devotee gamers will pop-in to jump-in, why would they suspect they aren’t getting the best buy?
Now obviously, I’m only speculating the reasoning for the price increases, but the amount of flabbergastation flowing in my veins is very unsettling. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for as long as I can remember with purchases including all three computers I’ve ever owned + my $1,700 fridge, just months ago. Even my vacuum cleaner! I have their credit card and am a member of the Best Buy Rewards program (since it first started with a $10 fee and when it was more rewarding before they changed it). So will I continue to shop at Best Buy? Only if their name lives up to it. And the way things look now, I best be shoppin’ elsewhere. See full image…
