Holy Crap, Super Cheap Games!

Posted under Games, Xbox 360

I saw this just now at Destructiod and I just wanted to let you guys know.

Games for a $1.99? Say no more. It might all be crap, but it might not be too. Best Buy launches a crazy sale tomorrow on over 200 games for almost every current console. Â It’s an ideal time to complete your GameCube collection, as there are quite a few of those on the list. Keep in mind that this is a U.S. sale only, so if you live in Canada, send Best Buy a box of flaming poop and your compliments.

And the 360 games are:
Xbox 360

1.99 X360 Full Auto
1.99 X360 King Kong
1.99 X360 RidgeRAcer 6
4.99 X360 College Hoops 2k6
4.99 X360 NHL 2k6
9.99 X360 2006 fifa World Cup
9.99 X360 Dynasty Warriors 5: Emipres
9.99 X360 Elder Scrolls Oblivion Collectors Edition
9.99 X360 Final Fantasy XI
9.99 X360 Moto GP 2006
9.99 X360 Quake 4
9.99 X360 tony Hawk’s American Wasteland

Someone out there is listening…..I hope?

Posted under Game Releases, Rumor Control, Xbox Live Arcade

I saw this post up at Joystiq and since I am the Marketplace man I thought I would bring this to your attention, plus I have been asking for this forever and you guys know this. First Alien Homanid 4 sure next week then this lil diddy! Is this a sign of XBL Arcade actually pulling a 360?

This Quote Via Joystiq.com Via Xbox 360 fanboy.com
“This pair of images might indicate that Konami’s coin-op classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is currently up on PartnerNet, Xbox Live Arcade’s beta testing network. But let’s not confuse our burning desire with reality. The Turtle rights are now in Ubisoft’s hands, so re-releasing this arcade romp is gonna take some finessing. It’s not improbable, but without an official announcement joining these screens, TMNT isn’t confirmed for XBLA either. Besides, Konami’s already got six other arcade ports clogged in the pipeline. ”

FAME is a BIOTCH!

Posted under Interview, Steve519, Video, Websites
“NOTICE ANY RESEMBLENCE?”

Recently one of our Hosts, Steve519, was featured on on10.net. He was highly exstatic about being on the show and promoting our small community. However he seemed a little disgruntled (for a Postal-Worker that’s ironic) about his name being mispelled.

I tried to console him by telling him: It’s about the community as a whole, so enjoy the perks and take the good with the bad. I hope it helped him to cope… but if not, he is in good company!

Check out the artical and watch the video: 10.net

Gaming Night Tomorrow Night

Posted under Market Place, Steve519, XBL Radio, Xbox 360, Xbox Live

It looks like this week the winner of the voting is GOW. And by a pretty good margin so we will be playing it once again. If you would like to join our awesome community of gamers just go here in our forums for the info of how to join us. We have a XBL Radio gaming night every Saturday night at 7pm pacific and 10pm eastern. Now I had one person ask me why GOW every week, so I figured I would address is here, we leave the voting up to you guys, the gamers. Its simple, whatever gets the most votes we will START off playing. That does not mean we will not play other things as well, but that just says we will start off playing that. Like tomorrow night, we will start off in GOW but we will probably get a little time in Rainbow Six or Burnout Revenge as well. So join us Saturday in our gaming night, it will be an awesome time with a bunch of causal gamers, (we are not hardcore, just a bunch of people trying to have a fun time). And mid next week, be sure to visit our forum to vote on next weeks game, especially if GOW isn’t your thing (I’m voting on GRAW and PGR next week).

So I hope to see you all there Saturday and maybe the weeks following that as well.
