Fallout 3 Review

Bethesda has worked on games set in deep space, the middle ages, and even the Caribbean but none of them satisfied my fancy as much as nuclear wasted Washington, D.C. Which is where Fallout 3 takes you this holiday season.

The year is 2277, 200 years after the bombs fell and 30 years after Fallout 2. Ya ya ya! We know (Well some of us do). Radiation, robots, nukes, and anarchy. If you haven’t at all got a clue about the Fallout universe, do yourself a favor and Google. I have a lot to go over and the back story, at this point, is the least important. Introduction With A BANG!

[ A fuzzy video feed suddenly interrupts your weekly TV show, as you sit on your favorite recliner. A giant globe wearing a gaming headset backdrops a wood grain podium. The Dillinger Escape Plan sudden erupts through your surround sound speakers nearly waking the 70 year old neighbors next door.

Merry Christmas!

From all of us here at XBL Radio, we want to wish you, our community, and the community over at Platform Nation, a very merry christmas. So sit back, take out those video games that you asked for, and enjoy them as much as possible. Digital downloads have been seen as the future but are we ready?

Microsoft has been playing with the idea for a long time now. Since the launch of the 360, users have had the option of downloading games directly to the hard-drive. We were than graced with the addition of “Xbox Originals”, a new feature that allowed users to download full Xbox games. Now we have the ability to play 360 games from our hard-drives after an install. I think where this will lead is the option to download full retail 360 games from Xbox Live.

Halo Wars has been dated

Halo fans have a new reason to celebrate today. Ensemble Studios and Microsoft Studios have announced the release date for Halo Wars. Mark you calendars for March 3, 2009 to get your Halo RTS on. Leave a comment below if you plan on picking it up on launch day.

Next Metal Gear Title coming to the 360?

Hey what is up XBL Radio listeners, B4 here bring you the latest news as to what is going on in the gaming community.

I found an image on n4g.com today, that was released by the Kojima Productions website, and from the looks of it, it looks like that a new Metal Gear game should be on its way very soon. The only problem with this is from the looks of this image, it seems to me that the next title in the series will not be releasing on the PS3. A lot of speculation is taking place that this next game could release on the 360 because of the green lights and power button, on the Wii or DSi because of the exclamation points, on the ipod touch for the same reason, or on the PC because of the power button as well. There has also been speculation that this might have something to do with Metal Gear Acid, because of the exclamation points as well.

Whatever way you look at it, PS3 owners are set to be dissappointed this time around. The question that I pose is, are you excited that a new Metal Gear game is coming out, or are you disappointed that the franchise is not staying exclusive to the PS3?
