What is up everybody at PN and XBL Radio, B4 here to give you the latest news as to what is going on in the gaming community. Today I actually have a news story for you from the world of Nintendo, so let us get right to it.
According to an article in which I found on the site gamesindustry.biz, which acquired this information from Nikkei Net, a new version of the DS that focuses on multimedia capabilities is set to release sometime this year in Japan.
Here are some of the new features that it will have:
1. Built in camera
2. Music playback capabilities
3. Improved wireless functions (not sure what this means, maybe better wi-fi support?)
4. Larger screens
I know it might seem like these new features are not all that special at first glance. If you take some time to think about it however, some of them might give a few titles that support wi-fi on the DS an even better chance, for the people who play them, to be more interactive with other people who play Nintendo games online.
Camera support could allow to import your face into a game, music playback might allow you to add your own soundtrack to a game, the possibilities are endless.
Now no pricing detail, or release date of the US version of this new system have been released yet, but it is said to cost JPY 20,000 in Japan, and will be releasing over there later this year.
When more details about this new version of the DS come out, I will let you know, until then, this is all I have to give you.
Until next time gamers, this is B4 signing off
Take Care,
MrB4

.0 Shows Due to technical difficulties our regularly scheduled .0 show will not be up until tomorrow. Keep your pants on until then.

Update from X3R0 9 (Monday September 29)…
Hey everybody, I apologize for the inconvenience, just as I was getting ready to make the post for the show, my internet crapped out on me. First I thought it was my router, which it isn’t (surprisingly enough), after troubleshooting, I found out it was the modem. Got to love Comcast’s equipment. I think this is like the third modem I’ve gone through with them. Anyways, show is done, but sitting on my harddrive. I will have internet up tonight, so the show will be posted when I get home. Thank you everyone for understanding!

Oh, Zoids Assault, where do I begin? From the get-go, everything about this toy-inspired monstrosity screams low budget. If you’ve never seen one of the 80’s model robots from which this game gets its inspiration, then you’re not alone; I hadn’t either. After playing this game, I sincerely hope I never do. It will take an amazing amount of self restraint to resist snapping their little heads off in a fit of vengeance.

For any of you who have been trying to grind your way through Rock Band 2’s World Tour or Challenge modes to unlock every song: have no fear. Patrick Klepek has revealed on the MTV Multiplayer blog that a “game modifier” code can be used to unlock all 84 of those sweet, sweet tunes that you don’t want to wait for. The code has to be input in the Game Modifiers screen:
Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue.

That’s it. It’s not the easiest thing to figure out, but to be fair it is the same code from the original Rock Band. So, if you’re like me and just want to play Everlong over and over, you can now do so.
What are you waiting for? Go play!
