IMO. Your podcast is a lot better when you call on people for thier turn to talk. Last podcast was too confusing and was hard to follow for the listener. I know you had some people that felt comfortable, but they hurt the show with the constant discussion. _________________

I like big j's suggestion, however I also like the enthuaism (blah spelling) of the guests when they get on a roll. I did think that a couple of the guests didn't get alot in because they weren't called on to speak and they got drowned out.
I like the show still, but it is just a suggestion. _________________ <<<------ Note the gamertag changed

You really think?
I remember getting flamed in the early days about finally getting to the one or two guests that had no comments on the topic. And 9 out of 10 times they would say, "No, I have nothing to add", or something to that extent.
People use to tell me, "Rusty no need to drag on the topics, just move on". One guy had asked me, "Rusty do you do that to make sure that everyone gets a turn? Because if they had anything to say then they would have said it."
---------------
I'll admit, this last roundtable (28.5) had A LOT of overtalk. And I DO HATE that as it is VERY annoying and uncomfortable for me as a listener. I will make every effort to control it more from now on.
As for calling on each guest to take turns... That's not a true "roundtable", IMO. That is more of an Q&A discussion. Hence less of a conversation and more of an interview. Usually less exciting?

I have an idea, I'm gonna start a new topic!

Rusty, don't think that i was putting you down for the methods that you guys use. It was still a good episode, I just think that the overtalk was higher than normal. I do like the roundtable, the problem is that the shy and quiets guys/girls need to speak up a bit as well. _________________ <<<------ Note the gamertag changed

I went back and listened to the podcast again, when I was on a plane this week. It was easier to follow the second time.
I need to get my admin assistant to start downloading the extras rss feed, because I am one of the ones who would listen to a 2.5 hour podcast.
Also, if you have guest that have nothing to say. That is annoying. But, it should still be in a roundtable format, IMO. That is a pretty weak excuse to not call on everybody. Not to put you guys down. Just trying to help and let you know my opinion. _________________

A conversation with 7 people just gets hard to understand. I prefer the interviewing concept of fellow gamers. If somebody had a turn, and provided nothing, would that not be easier to cut out? _________________

It is a fine line. Do you allow everyone equal time, or are some guests more tuned to certain topics? Either way the host has to guide the conversation. So its a tight-wire to do a great show. _________________
