OK everyone, help me out.
Show Prep. is the time that all the guests get together and talk for a little bit before we hit the record button.
Here are a few things I usually say during that time...
1. "OK everyone this is a roundtable and I want to encourage you all to join in on the conversation and say what's on your mind."
2. "When you feel like someone is done with there comments then you can speak right after them, no need to wait for me or Steve to call on you."
3. "Overtalk always happens, but they usually work themselves out. When it happens (and it will), let's all just quickly decide who goes next and go from there."
What else should I say before we start recording to get the guests more comfortable, ready and to have the best show possible?
