-World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions--It has camera support, just no online support (from players) -DOOM: The Classic PC version of the game hits the arcade, with multi-player, voice and lag support.

In the segment where you're talking about old game systems, what is "The Activision"? I'm a pretty old dude--been playing games since I was 7--but I don't remember Activision being anything other than a publisher for Atari games back in the day.
Also, I don't think there's a demo for Lumines Live yet, because I've been waiting for that one forever. (and what you were describing sounds nothing like Lumines anyway--sounds more like Fusion Frenzy, though I'm not sure how those two could get confused for each other).
I think I really agree with your Poker conspiracy theory though. There's no other explanation for the XBLA poker game not having camera support. just doesn't make sense.

You are right it was Fusion Frenzy, and it is confusing keeping up with so many games. We try our best to do so, however in the heat of the discussion, we tend to talk fast and make some errors. Also I think we were referring to the Atari, not Activision. Since activision was a game, it must have been on our minds. If I said one and not the other I am sorry. We had a lot to cover this week, and the two points you made are duely noted. However in the spirit of the show I think they were not the emphasis of what we were discussion.
I will strive as hard as possible to be accurate in the future. I hope you will continue to let us know when something is mis stated. It does help us strive to become more accurate.

Wow TOG, I guess we can all be wrong sometimes. A Blog Post, A Radio Show, and conversation in general. But it is nice to be right sometimes. However Luminious LIVE Should have SUMO BALL too!

I thought it was an excellent show this week. It was a long one too (yay) and It was packed with content. I do find it funny with the mistakes you have made, but they are nothing serious - just comical.
I also liked your reviews, and I can totaly see your conspiracy theory about poker being true.
Also, something you havent had in a while is an interview. Do you think you might have an interview with some people like game devolpers or something like that in the future? |

The double intro was a technical SNAFU. Easily remidied, however I didnt catch it in time. Oh well. One mistake after another this week. LOL Hey I just wanted to say thanks for the support everyone. I can honestly say we are trying to get some interviews, however I dont wanna feel like some shows and have interviews that only try to promote products. Ill leave that to 1up, Gamespot, and others. We love to talk to the people that influence our game. However I try to make sure our show isnt about selling a particular title. Its about having a voice and getting you all interested in coming onto live.
When you think about it we have more "interviews" than any other show. Each week on LIVE we are honored by the presense of the people that really make the games what they are. YOU-THE GAMER. And that my friends are the real celebrities!

Ah, see your point, 'cept, why did u have an ad for splintercell in the middle? (I can understand BrokeBL Radio ads however).
It must be difficult to get an interview with someone who isnt going to promote something. Like the great interview with Trixie, she was essentially promotion gamerchix (not that anyone is complaining). So I dono who you could interview who isnt going to promote something. |

we don't get anything from the spots that we put in the shows we just use them because they are gaming spots, that we think add something else. Do you not like that? |
