Well at least they are being more clear about stating one can unlock the content without paying for it. It's just silly they are basically trying to remove cheat codes, and instead replace it with money. Cheat codes and video games just go together, you can't just try to take them out EA. This is an EA issue more than Marketplace issue for now, but since XBOX has their name on this service they will get grouped in with EA. Once again all the more reason like I said before, to stop the free market non sense and just make guidelines for all the content MS.

Also the first thing dealing with the Collector's Edition is confusing. I guess those tracks etc can't be unlocked unless paid for....Then that would be like the LotR: BFME2 where if you bought the certain game you got the extra maps....I'm not pro for this obviously, but it's not nearly as bad as removing cheat codes (Plus they just make it an incentive to fork out the extra 10 for the collector's edition...Not realizing 60 is already plenty enough I guess.).....The question is, on the current gen titles do cheat codes still unlock all this stuff?

But again this is only the child eating Eating EA. Its not like every game company is doing this for there games. The first thing i agree with. Purchasing the collectors edition gives you extra good stuff (for once) which isnt neccasry for the game and isntead of making oyu buy the collectors edition right away you can see if you relly want the extra cars and tracks. Everything else is a cheap waste of bandwith. I think ill call up EA and ask them why there being such do**he bags

Microsoft is much to blame as EA.

They allow them to put there product on the Microsoft Market Place. Its just like when Firestone put out a bad group of tire's for the Ford Explore in the late 90s and caused problems it was Ford who was held repsonable and it was Ford who had the recall.

When you own a store you have the choice of your inventory and the cost.
Microsoft is the owner of Xbox Live Market Place (hence the name).
Thats why its not called EA Market Place.

Well we are being a little extreme here again, there is a difference between safety and cause of death, and wasting a couple extra bucks. First off I am agreeing for the most part, but my point is MS should just set up general rules and regulations, regulating content piece by piece just won't work, and will cause tense relationships.....Plus I want to see how EA does this on the Wii and PS3 before making a complete throwing of MS under the bus. If Sony or Nintendo says no way, then I will cause even more of a stink....Beyond that I think the angle MS is taking, and I agree with it somewhat is they want to see what they can get away with by offering this EA content on their service. If it continues to be ripped in the media etc, I assume they will lay off, but like horse armor, they want to see how it sells. It is bullsh!t I'm not denying that, but it's not as clear cut as you make it out to be either.

The only thing one can do right now is try to stop stupid people from buying this content.
