World War Ps3: Let Loose the Dogs of WAR!

I am trying to keep an un-bias opinion on the upcoming launch of the PS3. However it is, and I am sad to say, not looking like it is going to be a smooth transition from the PS2 to the PS3.
Here is what Sony fans had to say say:
Mark Rein says “PS3 in better place for launch than 360″
Amidst all the arguments over PS3’s hefty price tag, how much the world really cares about Blu-ray, and how important Xbox 360’s steadily growing lead will prove, self-styled ‘industry loudmouth’ and Epic boss Mark Rein has revealed an interesting take on the next-gen battle from a developer’s perspective.
Comparing the situation for developers last year ahead of the launch of 360, Rein believes Sony’s efforts to get final dev kits out to studios compares favourably with those of its bitter rival.
“Developers were just getting final PS3 hardware [around E3], which is a long time before ship,” Rein told Eurogamer TV in an exclusive interview now showing. “Developers did not have finished Xbox 360 hardware last year at E3. So Sony’s actually maybe in a better place vis-a-vis Microsoft in relation to launch.”
He continued to say, “I think Sony’s in a good spot with the PlayStation 3,” he added. “I know we’re getting some great results with it back at our house, so I would expect other developers will be as well.”
On the other hand here is what MS has to say:
. Microsoft Europe boss Chris Lewis fired a couple of gentle salvos at Sony on the heels of their PS3 delay in Europe.
Lewis told MCV:
“We know how challenging it is to pull off a global launch, so it’s not surprising that Sony has backed away from their previously announced launch plan due to the unproven technology they are trying to pack in to their console.”
In the rest of the article, Lewis restates Microsoft’s desire to succeed in Europe and mentions Gears of War and the whole 10M Xbox 360s thing, again.-
I will agree with most Sony critics, most of them being friends of mine, they are messing up where they could have capitalized: Better launch than MS, including the HDMI cables, and meeting production claims. All of these mis-steps could have shown gamers who are “on the fence” which console is a safer bet. Now it seems that the only Console that may be accurate in its claims is NINTENDO. (they are only claiming fun, not domination)
I personally think MS should take the High Ground, and if the 1080/Blue-Ray thing flops, MS can shake the competitions hand, and look like a “True Winner”. However, picking apart launch-day woes, and production flaws only makes you seem like a unsporting-gamer! Lest we don’t forget: MS went through a Brutal launch at this time last year. However; instead of telling us they were not meeting their launch goals, they stated that they were being shipped. (we later found out-to a desert bunker)

WOW, Steve,
I actually took the time to state the FACTS. Not even saying SONY was doing the right thing. I would even go so far as to say I sided with MS on this. Yet you still show your intellect on the subject by not contributing anything intelligent to the post.
Now I know why your so scared of FACTS.

check your email I just sent you a lot of facts

Thats not the point Steve,
I am trying to incorporate some type of dialogue, and you
reduce it to the same CRAP I am trying to avoid. If you facts stand the test, post them here. Let readers have links to your “FACTS” then let them draw conclusions. At some point it’s nice to have intelligent conversations, not just “MY SYSTEM IS BETTER” talk.
BTW the whole: Who do you like better post on your forum makes it seem like we are competing against each other. Also to vote for yourself is SAD. What did you not make it on the “PROM-QUEEN” ballads either?
