I'm a 16 year old kid who is trying to get into the video game industry. I currently work for a computer company (getting paid under the table) and know a lot about computers. By giving me this 4 month subscription, you would be helping me in going for my dreams as a video game designer or video game programmer. Please consider it, it will really help me go for what I want to do in life. Thanks for hearing me. |

Well I'm a huge gamer and ive been wanting to get into the gaming industry for a couple years now. I cant afford other developing platforms so this is my only chance. I tried out the PC version and it looked real good but Ive been wanting to try the little test game i made on my 360. And i could then decide if i want to get a yearly subscription and try to get my friends into it who are also interested in game developing

Well... I'm a C++/C# programmer, and have had the training to make simple C++ applications for over 5 years. I went and took 2 years of University entry-level programming at Saint Mary's University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I flunked the programming due to gaming. (That's on a serious note.) I've been playing games since the Atari 2600 and the TI-Computer. I've programmed in BASIC, TI-BASIC, C++, C#, Assembly and attended 2 Microsoft Student Tour conferences in Eastern Canada. I have ties to a friend who works for a side-company called HB Studios, hired by EA Sports to make graphical interfaces and front-ends for several sports games, including - just recently released - Cricket 07 for the PS2 and PC and Madden '07 for the Nintendo Wii. I've been an Xbox owner since about 2 months before the release of Halo 2, and I've witnessed the decline of arcade gaming in the worst possible way: an Act of God (massive flooding in the 90's destroyed thousands of dollars of arcade machines in Truro, NS). I'm also a regular poster on MyGamerCard.net, where I'm member number 25.
To be totally honest and fair, I'm really just using this post as a medial resume of all the crap I've done in my lifetime. I have no game ideas right now, but I'd love to help someone with their creation by giving creative feedback and criticism. Games are meant to be fun, and lately, although the Nintendo Wii is a lot of fun, I haven't seen much in terms of fun since Gears of War on the 360. Xbox Live Arcade can not be hard to crack. I'm dying to see a 2D, sidescrolling fighter, similar to Double Dragon, but a lot more hardcore (like Ninja Gaiden). C'mon somebody, make it happen, and make this hardcore programmer/gamer from NS Canada proud with that 4 month Creator Club account! - Wickedneoq, aka Gordon Allen, Truro, NS, Canada |

Oh man i would love to have that. Okay guys please dont be copy cats but here is the idea behind a game me and my homeboys are currently working on and have about 65% done.
NO NAME YET FPS, non-futuristic, but pos-apocaliptic world multiplayer(pc) character creation, fpv character hands creation. just to name some of the new original weapons and such without letting to much go. AKA SAW SNIPER (when you aim this baby you have to select and lock a target and when you pull the trigger a box flys out attach to a rope gets to a certain distance the box gets pull back and 5 saw blades come flying and rip the enemy into a couple of new gibs) ACID SHOTGUN (pretty much what it sounds like but it carrys a massive kick, and the deformation effects are great) ACID GRANADE (want to open a whole in a wall, attach this baby there jump back and watch what happens) we are currently all catch up on code, we are mostly working on models and effect + sounds, and we should be ready to ship for pc in fall, so give us a chance to try out the game on the 360 and we promise to release a single player for the community all free. LOOK OUT FALL, GUERILLA STUDIOS IS COMMING FROM THE UNDERGROUND. Now can someone please point me to some XNA tutorials, as the game is coded on manage c# and x, and I would imagin porting it to xna its got to be simple. EDIT: I notice all the people trying to get to the game biz, and also all the talented programers. We are planning to expand over the internet, setting share servers to manage source code and arming our teams with sutible comunications tool to work from home. We are currently at the end of designing a RTS for which we would need some new blood for. Programmers, 3d designers, 2d textures, and mostly and more importanly reliable talented people. If anyone interested please send me a private messege, currently the pay sucks, but we havnt yet release our current project, once we do, things will really look good. |

Why I think I should to recieve the 4 month subscription to the creators club is for three reasons. First, if I should to be the winner I would use the time that I have with the creators club to make a game for blind people to play easly, and have no trouble moving around and where to go, while also having the sighted people who can play a game no problem have the time of there life in a ardcore game expeirence. Secondl, when I start to make my game I would souly listen to the community and ask what they would want in a gmae, I would not add any of my own specific content in the game. Finally, I will also have the most balanced out achievment system in my game, so everyone would have a decent chance of getting all 200 points (my game is a arcade title), and while the comunity tries the game I can also gather good feedback into what should be a good achievment to unlock in the game as well.

I would like the subscription because I'm a little short on cash and have big dreams. I'm going to school for Game Art and Design at Westwood College and putting myself through school. I'm 29, married and have twin 5 year old girls. I'm trying to make life a little better for my wife and kids and I'd like to have the full set of tools to further my studies and take the first step to starting my company.

I'm going to let this go till NEXT tuesday, then I will decide. And on NEXT tueday we will also have a special XNA roundtable released for you all so, even though some of you won't get the free pass, you will get to learn about for when you will have the money. And if it was up to me, I would try to give you all a free ride, but I can not, I can only give what I have

Hello! I’m a fourteen year old programmer from Canada, and my name is Free Debreuil. I got a 360 for Christmas and heard that you could run your own games on it (pretty awesome!). I’ve been using XNA for the last few months, and it’s great (before this I used DirectX and GDI, which was a pain). It’s like normal C#, but way easier to use. I’m making a top down tanks game which should be fun. I'm planning to get a Creator's Club membership, but this would save me two months allowance. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I have a website at http://www.debreuil.com/free2005/programs.html, but I haven't updated it in a while |

Hi! I'm Sky Debreuil (twin brother to to guy who just posted). I think you should give me the free subscription because my brother is the evil twin and won't share it with me (but I would share it with him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) ). As a hobby I do 3D Modeling (3D Max), and C# Programming. I have been doing XNA Programming and found it very intuitive. I am currently making a top down shooter (Not the same one as my brother's). I'm would really like the membership - Thanks!
