Maybe a follow-up on The Godfather next week that addresses the consumables EA has put up on the Marketplace. I'm wondering how essential it might be to pay for those if you really want to succeed in the game.

Great show. Great show indeed.
And Satan's top ten things about halloween - they realy seem to lead to something - like a sublinimal message or somethig, but couldnt quite work out what it was.

I really liked your review of the Godfather, infact i was extremely tempted to go out and buy that game this week or next, But how could EA be so low as to do an act as they did? First there was the Tiger thing, that was bad enough - But now this? Bah.
I really hope this is brought up in the round table next week.

hey guys, i know TOG said something about me answering a Tiger Woods question...about the cheats...My cuz Mr. Mojo got them, and all he did was not apply it to a new profile, and was able to get the Single player achievements that way...I started my guy from scratch, and have pretty much unlocked everything that they had to buy within a week...so yeah to me big waste of money...

I don't think he was implying that you used the cheats, if it came out that way, I think he and I know how good you are at Tiger Woods so you would be the go-to guy for info.

Im still listening to the show so ill probably have more critisisms later. You say MS tried making you pay extra for FF11 but that wasent MS. Its Sqaure. Those stupid servers cost so much to run there would be no way to make enough money to run them. And guys,a LOT of people play that. At any time i usually have 3-5 people playing FF.

Sony what are you doing? You say the games are filling up the discs and in responce to a question asking if its just cut scences you say its not about grpahics. But then you say its being used for hi-res textures and high quality animations. Last time i checked those are graphics.

Sony is like a emo kid, slowly sliting there wrists till they slowly bleed to death

Okay sorry about this Double post. Whats so freaking bad about in-game ad's? Big deal theres a freaking bill board for hummer. Its more realistic.

And dude, stop being a baby about Saints row baby. That satan section was wierd and i had no idea what he was saying. I agree with bush hanging with the devil but Bill Gates isnt evil. i know it was a joke but just remember he donates how much to charity a year? A freaking lot. And when hes gonna retire hes going to donate 90% of his money to charity. [retorical_question]How much does Mr.Jobs donate?[/retorical_question]

Sorry, going to answer that question, well not really. Im sure Jobs donates more than Phil Harrison...

Well Really, i dont mind in game ads, as long as they do not interupt game play. If an ad was on a loading screen, i'd consider that intruption. But a bil board, or a car driving by with an ad on the side is fine. Once they go to the point of the game play being holted, and u must sit though an ad, then its gone across the line.

Gaming ads! I have yet to see a game out there that gives you a discount yet (burger king is not out yet before you say that one) They are making money of these ads, and still we get stiffed with a $60 game, which over 50% that come out have problems that have to be addressed. So that tells me they are not putting the money back into the games but in there pockets. Yes some ads make it more realistic and some don’t. EA goes over the top. Fight Night Round 3 was wrong for its ads. Graw & Splinter Cell not so bad I think the ads were fine. The axe billboard in Graw and I can’t remember the other one seamed like it belonged there. Splinter Cell I am about 30% through and I have found 3 ads that I am ok with. Would you be upset if you were paying for HBO, CMAX, ShowTime and they were putting ads on there station.

If the Ads don't interupt gameplay, it's no big deal. Ad's are now a standard part of gaming.

News papers are not free-Ads in every page. Cable TV programming is not free-Still got commercials. Driving down the toll road is not free-Billboards everywhere.

Welcome to life.

Didn't you guys put commercials in your podcast that aren't even paid placements?

To the other guy:

But im talking about what nocebo said. If there were ads added in during loading times that made you wait say 15 seconds more. Would you put up with that for a discount?
