I have a bunch of old Halo 2 buddies who never got a 360 and don't play all that much anymore. I'm hopin' this game will reunite our old clan, D11KINS C1D3R.

Whats so awesome about halo3? Theree almost no info about it and wont be out for a while,for all you know it could be total crap. Look at bioshock or,its not an oringal IP, but its a game that will be very good but will be underlooked because of big games like H3.Sure it might be good and it might be great but many other games are coming out that arent sequels. Even though bioshock is pretty much a sequel

You basically contradicted yourself there; how do you know Bioshock is going to be any good? It could very well turn out to be crap, too.
Personally I think Halo 3 is going to be a great game because of Bungie's track record, because I'm a fan of the story, and I love that particular style of FPS.

I agree with you that it will be a great game. My only problem is that unlike games like Final Fantasy which reinvents itself almost every title (lets try not to count X2), I'm not sure there will be much in the of "progression" with Halo 3. My guess is the story will continue...better graphics...maybe some extra multiplay content. Personally I just want to see a change and I think Gears of War is a much more "Mature" game in terms of being invcedibly gritty and multiplay is much more tactical. But then again that's just my opinion.

I agree with you that it will be a great game. That's true, but it's a different genre. How many FPS series have really ever evolved?

That's true but my only point is that I think I would rather see bungie really attempt to bring in different game mechanics or radical new ideas to the series. I was incredibly dissapointed with Halo 2's storyline and singleplayer gameplay. It felt to me like Halo 1 with better graphics and little innovation. I'm just hoping this isn't the case for Halo 3.
