| Is all of the hooplah true about Gears not supporting partys of friends going into matchmaking together? I heard it rumored that friends could play customs/campaign together, but matchmaking is a solo deal...can anyone confirm/deny? This could determine if I purchase this title. |

The way I understood it was that in ranked games, it does not support friends. But, in unranked you can get your friends together. The arguement is that they dont want any cheaters/boosters.

but that rules out playing with people that dont suck majot amounts of a**. And it kills clans

I think they should do away with ranks all together. Lets get back to how multiplayer used to be...all about having fun with friends. This would get rid of all the stupid boosters.

I think that the amount of blood will actually affect gameplay. Ive been looking at screens and videos and the blood almost fills up the screen. And i think while the art looks very nice to many things blend with each other

I love the cinematec quality of GoW. It has a MUCH more style oriented look then say...Halo.

I think that whole thing was blown out of proportion and somewhat misinterpreted. Those are guidelines, not “preset rules” and Halo 3 will do everything it did before, and more in matchmaking. Gears of War is a different game and is approaching matchmaking differently. |
I was worried that not only would Gears be like this, but lots of games coming out. This was a relief to read. |

I know this sounds stupid but this kid in my school has a Gears of War case. I didnt get to see the game inside but i saw the case and it was VERY real. Ill post later if he actually has it b/c im getting his tag

Lol...I could go make one right now in 5 minutes. Print out the gears of war cover on high glossy prints...place in xbox 360 case...yep I have one made.
