Na, I dont mind at all that there are those ad spots. Especially when it includes fun things like the Brokebl radio or snakes on a plane sketchs.
What I was meaning to say is that there is nothing wrong with promoting a product, whether via interviews or ads as its pretty much impossable to not promote something. For starters, this is an xbox podcast, so ur promoting xbox. There is nothing wrong with promotion.
But please, I beg u not to put the Bioshock trailer onto ur podcast cuz that is really difficult to understand without seeing pictures |

I agree, most comercials are more like "Promos" usually for a fellow podcast. Sometimes I will place a game in the mix, if it something we either talked about, or something were interested in. But to answer your question: Promoting something that is of no cost to our listeners, "podcasts, contests, and web sites is more what we look for. Some of the other type interviews: When a game is coming out and all we do is try to pitch a game sell to you, it comes off as if we are advertising. It is also hard for me to review a game honestly, without BIAS, if I really like the person who comes on the show to promote a game. However a podcast or website is usually not going to effect our credibility on the show.

I hope MS doesn't have much input on the production of HALO the MOVIE. If so we wont get the sound, in the theatre, unless we pay xtra for it at the ticket booth! |
