Mega Man 9

After only being out for just a few weeks, Mega Man 9 is getting downloadable content this week. WiiWare Channel will get its DLC today, while XBLA will get the content tomorrow, with the PSN following on Thursday. We are getting two pieces of content, Endless attack and Proto Man Mode. Here is the press release of what these two items will have in store for us.

Endless Attack – Test your skills on a stage without end. Try to break the record for getting the farthest. Results will be displayed in the Rankings page. Not compatible with other Challenges.

Proto Man Mode - Play the game as Proto Man. Some of Proto Man’s abilities may differ from Mega Man’s. Proto Man has the Charge Shot ability, Power Slide ability, and a shield that he can utilize to deflect bullets at enemies. However, Proto Man also takes double damage and has double bounce back when he is hit.

There is no story for Proto Man and he is not compatible with Rankings or Challenges.

No word on the cost for this DLC, but for all you die hard Mega Man fans that might have beat the game already, here is some more content for you.
Also adding to this, rumor has it that there will be more DLC available on October 20th.
Check out some images after the jump.

What is up members of P*N and XBLRadio, Mr B4 here giving you the latest news as to what is going on in the gaming community. Instead of a news story for you today, I have a review of a game that I played recently for the Nintendo Wii, through their Wiiware service. The game is called Major League Eating: The Game, it was developed by Mastiff Games, and costs 1,000 Wii points ($10 USD).

Here is a quick rundown of the modes that you will find in this game:

1. Single Player: This mode basically plays out like a game of Mortal Kombat, but instead of moving up in ranks from fighters that you defeat, you will move up in ranks after you defeat each of your eating competitors. You have 10 characters that you can play as, four that you start with, and six that you have to unlock by completing this mode.

2. Versus mode: One-on-one versus play with a friend:  same method of playing as single player mode.

3. Online Multi-player: Plays out the same way as both the versus and single player modes, with the exception of leader boards that allow you to track your win-loss record.

As you can already tell, this game does not have much to offer as far as modes go. Let us see if the gameplay can save it at all. Let us get right into the review.
