Geometry Wars: Galaxies from PAX 2007

There has been a lot of noise about this game and after I final got some hands on time with it, I can tell you its for good reason. For all you Nintendo Wii owners, keep an eye out for this game. This is one that you will not want to pass up for sure.
I don’t know, that control scheme looks kinda weird. I’m not too convinced about the price either. At 5 bucks Geo Wars is a steal, but paying 30-40 for a collection of Geo Wars games (which are just variations of the game)? It’s iffy.
Geo wars is fun and also addictive i think. The problem is throwing that large price tag on it. Maybe if it was for the virtual console like how the first geo wars was for the xbox live arcade, then it might be worth checking out.
Talk like that is why it won’t come out for the 360. It’s smart to release it on the Wii, it’s a whole new market of unquestioning gamers.
Also, the Wii and DS versions can share the classic “Retro Evolved” via wifi download to DS. 2 player VS and co-op. Over 90 “missions” aka maps and game modes. At $39, it’s a steal.
