GVU Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver
Posted under Gamer's Video Update, Microsoft, Review, Steve519, Video, Xbox 360 by Steven Artlip (Steve519)This is part 5 of the 5 part series of reviews on the Xbox 360 accessories. Todays review is on the Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver. Thanks to those that leave comments and/or suggestions, good or bad, I take notice of all of them.

For what it’s worth I use this on my 64 bit Vista machine with no problems at all. It was really just plug and play. Been using my wireless 360 controller to play halo 2 and a bit of shadowrun. (got a great deal at circuit city and got both games for about $42 tax included. )
Some people didn’t have any issues with vista, I did though and so did w lot of people in the xbox.com forums. But not a single problem with my XP system though.
Hey there Steve. Just for the heck of it I just installed the receiver on my 32bit vista pc and it also worked fine. Guess its microsofts way of paying me back for having 2 360’s get the Red ring of death.
only 2? Thats not that bad i guess. At least they all have a 3 year warranty now.
I already installed my wired controller and headset on the computer, so i probably wouldnt need it, unless i had four friends to play pc games with, and thats highly unlikely.
