Can’t wait for the show. What time will you post it Carpal?
Usually at Midnight but for you It will be up in 30 minutes.
Is this when you give away the signed copy of lost planet? I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hope i win
You mean midnight from Monday to Tuesday? If so I’ll download the show in the morning (I get up at 5:30am…) to listen to on my way to work.
Thanks!
DUDe you are a freaking fool….I lOVE it!!!!!!!!…….
i get up at 5 every day
my god carpal, funniest pic ever
HOw come it doesn’t show up on Itunes?
Damn I put my name where my gamertag was.
Wow what’s wrong with me today?
How come i can’t get the shows on itunes anymore?, other than that aweosome show.
Yeah what is up with that itunes problem?
I dont know why the past few shows seem to take awhile to update on itunes. However if you unsubscribe then subscribe to the cast it immediately downloads in Itunes.
We changed our RSS format a few shows ago, and everysince it has had this issue. When a show is posted Itunes doesnt show it unless you re-subscribe. However, feedburner, podcast alley, and others work immediatley. Perhaps Steve can look into this situation and tell me a remedy. Believe me, I want it to work as much as anyone else. Its frustrating and we will work to figure this out.
If anyone else can give assistance please let us know.

Well dern, freakin’ iTunes!!!
Wanted to listen to this at work today, guess I’ll do the unsubscribe/subscribe thing tonight.
Another reason why I download the show directly as MP3…
Wow, that’s a lot of stuff on the show man, congrats, I feel like I’m gonna have to listen to it a few times to digest it all…
Good work.
Just listened to the show, and I got to say that you guys were way off the mark with the reasons for HD-DVD ripping. Muslix64 *had* to decrypt/hack/rip his copy of his HD-DVD movie because it *would not play* on his computer due to the fact that his LCD monitor was not HDCP compliant (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection, a copy protection scheme to eliminate the possibility of intercepting digital data midstream between the source to the display).
This is not so much copying so we don’t have to pay for the content, but more of an issue of being able to actually use the content that we have legally and rightfully purchased in ways that we as the consumer see fit.
I love your show and always listen but please in the future don’t report on something without actually understanding the technology and circumstances. People listen to your show and believe what you say, so say it right.
I am not being defensive but:
1. We stated the article was from 1up.
2. We also said we did not know why he was doing the hack.
3. While I appreciate your correcting us, our show is merely dialogue about articles. Not creating the articles. However I assure you I will look more into the story. If more needs to be stated I will reply on our next show.
One side note: If he knew it wasn’t playable on his P.C., why purchace the HD version instead of the DVD? Perhaps he needs to figure out what HD standards are for playback and leave the “hacking” alone. I assure you it would save time and work.
Also if this was for Muslix’s personal viewing, how did it spread to the media like 1up and t.w.i.t. so fast? Thats how we heard of it. So seems like there were other motives than personal issues with his viewing pleasure.
So we may not understand the DVD HD setup, but at least we know what are systems are capable of. That’s how we manage to get the story to you each week.

One question if what you say is true then why did he hack the Blue Ray a couple of weeks ago.
If he is smart enough to hack the content you would think he would be smart enough to buy a copy that would play on his equ. I am by no means smart enough to hack the HD and Blue Ray DVD’s but i am smart enough to know they want work in my eq at the house.
